EXCLUSIVE FIFA 17 Trading Method!
After the recent news of the FUT Chemistry Glitch, you can rest assured that EA will have this completely fixed for FIFA 17 Ultimate Team. This will make in-forms perform as they should and you should therefore notice a big difference in how they play.
How to Start FIFA 17 Ultimate Team
Check out all three scenarios below.
FIFA 17 Web App Webstart Release
If you’re planning on starting your FUT 17 journey on the FIFA 17 Web App Webstart Release date (likely on September 17th / 18th) then you’ll certainly be in excellent shape. For returning FUT 16 users, we strongly recommend you spend time optimising here.
Open Returning User Packs – Step 1
When you first login, you’ll receive returning user packs for your loyalty to the FIFA Ultimate Team game mode. In the past, the more loyal you’ve been the higher the value of FUT packs you’ll receive. There’s usually a cap on the loyalty packs, regardless of how many years you’ve played. You will also need to open a starter pack containing 30 items, to enable you to build a basic FIFA 17 club structure.
Sell Pack Contents – Step 2
Our philosophy during that vital period of Webstart is to liquidate pretty much everything (assuming nothing is overly expensive), stockpiling a bunch of coins and then make quick profits by trading. If you’ve already built up quite a few coins then you can be more relaxed in terms of selling items that you feel will increase in price. When you’ve made quick profits by trading, we advise investing and holding mid-high tier expensive players as they certainly will be increasing in price! This happens year on year, during Webstart and early access prices increase and then a few days after the official release they generally start to trend downwards.
While most players above 500 coins are going to increase, you should look to make quick profits and build your way up to investing in more expensive players. Renato Sanches may be a good example here, especially after his stand-out performance in EURO 2016. He wasn’t included in the FUT 16 database, so his hype for an inclusion in the FUT 17 database is going to be huge. We can imagine a lot of players won’t know how to price him either. You should also look to invest in players that others will want for their teams. The Barclay’s Premier League will present great opportunities here as demand will be extremely high, especially for players like Ibrahimovic!
FIFA YouTuber Sander offers his thoughts on making coins during Webstart:
Collect Web App Daily Gifts – Step 3
FUT 17 Web App Daily Gifts will likely be available during the first 2 weeks of FIFA 17. This means that you can easily bag yourself several thousand extra coins and free FUT 17 packs just by logging in every day! Take advantage of these offers, liquidate players for coins towards the start (ease off as we approach the release) and continue trading and investing!
Open packs using FIFA Points – Step 4
We don’t advise opening packs really, but in some circumstances they can help you to make FIFA 17 coins. During FIFA 17 Ultimate Team, Webstart is one of those rare opportunities. If you are struggling to build up any sort of coin total, it’s worth opening a few packs with FIFA points. DO NOT USE COINS! We’ve stressed how important trading is during the Webstart period, so it’s wise to have coins to make longer term investments or quick profits.
FIFA 17 Early EA & Origin Access
Although this coincides with Webstart, starting now is not as optimal but it will still be very profitable. After all, it’s potentially only 1 days difference. Significantly less people will be playing FIFA 17 during EA Early Access, which entitles you to 10 hours early game time. Just to clarify, on Early Access we advise that you use the 10 hours to actually PLAY THE GAME. You can sit and trade on the Web App for hours on end.
The same steps listed in the Webstart section apply here, but you’ll want to do a couple of things while you’re able to get on the console.
Purchase items in the EASFC Catalogue – Step 1
This is important! As mentioned in our FIFA 17 EA Access & Origin Access Guide, your XP and Football Club Credits carryover, meaning you will likely have plenty of bronze Football Club Credits to purchase items in the EASFC catalogue / store. If you don’t have many credits, start earning some right now in anticipation. In order of importance, the items you should purchase at the very start of FIFA 17 Ultimate Team include;
- FUT Coin Reward Boosts – These will allow you to earn an extra 200 – 1000 coins PER GAME, depending on what XP level you are. This is vital during early access!
- FUT Increased Transfer List Size – Increase your Transfer List from 30 to 100 slots. This allows you to up your volume of trading.
- FUT Increased Transfer Targets Pile Size
- Purchase Balls and Kits. EA Sports Football Club Catalogue items such as these have high discard values and can really help to further boost your FIFA 17 coin totals.
Collect Super Deluxe or Deluxe 15k Packs – Step 2
During FIFA 17 Ultimate Team early access you should be able to claim your first batch of 15k Jumbo Premium Gold packs! EA announced that pre-ordering the FIFA 17 Super Deluxe Edition or Deluxe Edition would result in either 2 or 1 15k packs per week, for 20 weeks. You’ll also get high rated loan players that will help you when playing matches. If you do receive the 15k packs, you should look to open them ASAP and liquidate (assuming we’re not nearing the official launch).
Play Matches – Step 3
While it may seem like your time is better spent trading, during early access you should focus on both (only play matches on the console and trade exclusively on the web app). It’s very important to familiarise yourself with the game while many other players don’t have the opportunity. Not only will you be earning potentially an extra 1,000 coins per game, but you’ll make your chances of winning a lot higher upon the official release. Firstly, you’ll be better at the game than most and secondly you’ll have a relatively decent team with hopefully a few investments ready to sell on the release date. Most players starting on the release date will just have their starter pack items…
If you’re unsure on how to trade, then check our tips at the end of this guide.
FIFA 17 Official Release
The official FIFA 17 release date will be September 27th (North America) and September 29th (Rest of World). Those that have started playing in the previous two scenarios should look to offload those investments now!
Player & Consumable Prices
Ok, so you’re a little late to the party, but you can still build a decent FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Squad Builder in no time. Yes, it would have been much more profitable to start during Webstart or Early Access, but it’s not the end of the world. Prices will have largely increased for players above 500 coins. Consumables will have also increased. The same steps listed above apply, except for the most part you’re not going to want to invest in players.
We’ve done a lot of research here and player prices will likely drop shortly after the release. If your motives are to maintain coins, then your focus should be with really hyped squads and patiently waiting to snipe bargains. As an example, Renato Sanches is going to be very hyped next year after transferring to Bayern Munich. You’ll also get some really quick BPL players that will command a consistently high price. Think of players with few alternatives in their position, in popular leagues.
Although some of you may be panicking, throughout FIFA 17 Ultimate Team, player prices will significantly fluctuate based on events released by EA throughout the year. Tournaments with specific requirements will present amazing opportunities to make quick and easy coins. Rest assured we’re going to be detailing every amazing coin making method on our website, social media channels @UltimateTeamUK and our free FIFA 17 Mobile App! We’d definitely advise getting our free app as the players we advise investing in often spike in price within minutes.
FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Trading Methods to Make Coins
We’ve detailed several trading methods in our FIFA 17 Web App Webstart Guide, but to summarise and add to the list;
59th Minute Method
This method will be even more effective during the early phases of FUT. Scroll to the 59th minute using your preferred filters and instantly snipe any bargains you see on a buy now. Be quick as the best deals often go really quick.
BIN Sniping
If you know of a popular card such as Renato Sanches, which is listed in high volume, try and BIN Snipe them. BIN Sniping is where you rapidly change the price to return listing results. You’ve obviously set the max buy now well below what the player sells for so 99% of the time you will get no listing results. However, when an item appears it means someone’s listed him really cheap, meaning you should purchase him INSTANTLY!
Mass Bidding
Work out a profitable bid price on an item and then bid on as many of that item as possible at your max price, up until 1 hour. Wait and see what percentage of auctions you win. The items you do purchase, instantly resell on for a small profit. If you have increased your transfer and targets lists then you can really up the efficiency of this method!
The Bronze Pack Method
Effective as always. It works on the principle that you can eventually sell the contents of 400 coins bronze packs for more than 400 coins. Patience is the key here. Continuously re-list at 1 hour cycles.
BPL Bronze Players
Even Bronze BPL players will sell well to begin with. With this in mind you can look to BIN Snipe or 59th minute the more expensive players, or mass bid on the cheaper players.
Rare Silvers
Probably the one quality of players that FIFA 17 Ultimate Team players list without double checking the Transfer Market. There are many rare silver players which go for thousands and simply go under the radar. Yes, they’ll often have a higher price range, but many players just list them up for their min, or cheap on a Buy Now. It’s your job to take note of these items and monitor their listings. 5 star skillers, or fast players are usually the expensive players.
Player performances
Investing in player performances has consistently worked INCREDIBLY well for us. We’ve made millions of coins from it year after year. You’ll want to focus on the most popular leagues and preferably televised games. The Barclay’s Premier League will be in full swing by the FIFA 17 Ultimate Team launch date and will be watched by millions. If a player is performing well (especially if the game’s televised), then it’s worth investing and selling while he is hyped. Hype bubbles come and go and can result in easy profits. The best example of this was Adnan Januzaj’s debut against Sunderland, scoring 2 goals. Admittedly this was in an era of no prices ranges, but he went from a few thousand coins, to over 100k in the space of 1 hour!
Let your friends know about the best way for them to start their FIFA 17 Ultimate Team! It’s wise to do things properly, otherwise you can spend the whole year scraping around for a half decent team. Put a strategy in place early on, build coins and you’ll afford in-forms in no time!
